Thanks for the feedback. This is certainly a must do for live valve and was overlooked.

Makes sense why the harshness is there, if valving is always firmed up. And the truck thinks it’s up and has to come down.

So is that the official procedure to ask for at the dealer? I need a Ride Height Calibration as I changed springs? I bet at some dealers, you may end up throwing them into a loop.

All I did was tell them I needed my Ride Height reset. Service Writer went straight to the mechanic about how long it would take, so he could quote me.

You should be looking for "VDM". Unfortunately, the only service procedure in Forscan is "reset" and NOT "re-calibrate". Already tried it and it did not re-zero the ride height.

Forscan just finally added a VDM re-calibrate for some 2006 vehicles, who knows how long it will be before the service procedure is available for 2019 Raptors... I am thinking its going to be a while. I think we are stuck with going to a shop that has IDS.

Now is this something only the dealer and Fords tools can do? Or can a shop with an aftermarket diagnostic tool of one of the varied brands that is up to date take care of? I only ask, as we know sometimes going to the dealer is more involved appointment wise. But how many shops have even heard of resetting ride heights.

I will have to defer confirmation of this to one of the guys that know more than I do on the subject, like FordTechOne. But, I think any person/shop that has the IDS tool (which isn't cheap), and a current software license (which also isn't cheap) for Ford IDS, can access all the Ford service procedures.

After installing eibachs and deaver +3 I have driven about 2500 miles so should be broken in good. Going drop the truck off at the dealer tomorrow to zero out the live valves and update sync

Keep us posted on the details and how the ride feels after. Did you check your ride height up front on Forscan to compare after it’s been done? Just curious.
