@DINOZR you did a killer job building those wiring harnesses.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket company that builds and sells wiring harnesses like this for our Ford Raptors? Seems like a lot of people could use them.

I enjoy this stuff, so I thought about building a few and selling them. But I'm unsure if the market would support it. I've got $60 just in connectors on this. Add the consumables like butt splices, ring terminals, tech flex, wire extension for ground strap, electrical tape, and labels and materials come to $65 pretty fast. And then, geez, I spend a couple hours obsessing over these. $99 would pretty much be the lowest price I could see selling them for, and that feels expensive for what you get, and doesn't even value my time greatly. Wonder if I could get the connector cost down...?

Nice thought. Nice work.

You would have to charge enough to pay for parts inventory, which grows quickly if you are ordering larger numbers to get a qty discount. Then you need to store the stuff that you bought in hopes of eventually selling enough units to break even.

It would be a labor of love...

It’s very well thought out and the finished product looks like it’s an OEM part. I’d be willing to pay you $150.00 if that works for you. I’m sure if you made it a group buy you could get more orders. Just be careful, you might end up with more orders than you would like to build. [emoji23]

Hey @DINOZR that harness you made is awesome. Great work!!!! I might steal some of your idea, if you don’t mind.

What did you come up with for the pass through wires?

Really nice work! I learned about not soldering wires from a local aircraft mechanic, apparently FAA does not allow any soldered wires.

I agree about selling them, I would definitely be interested. PM me if you would consider making one for me, It would be very much appreciated.

I like it. I ran the upfitter a to a molex then from molex to a deutsch for each upfitter. Made a harness that runs down to the front bumper. 1 pair of cubes for upfitter 1,2 and 3. Everything is wrapped in Tessa tape with no exposed wires as pictured.”wasn’t done”
