Corsa vs AWE - Who Has Owned Both?

Who here has owned both the Corsa and the AWE OFG exhausts?

I'm curious to know the difference between the two.

Are you comparing to the Corsa Extreme or Corsa Sport?

I had the awe front resonator conversion with the corsa sport muffler, it was loud enough that i put the factory resonator back on.

I ran the Corsa resonator pipe on my 2018 Raptor - The drone was pretty bad in my opinion. The full extreme kit is too loud and raspy in my opinion.

AWE 1FG and 0FG are identical in terms of sound, just the 0FG includes the tailpipes and 5" tips.

I ran the 1FG after Corsa and loved it. Very little drone and wasn't raspy at all. Idle and cruising around town was perfect. I tried out the 2FG when I got a 2019 and it was great too, a little less sound but absolutely zero drone. I'd highly highly recommend any of the AWE offerings. I've ran them on 4/5 of my last vehicles. (18/19 Raptor, 17 Focus RS & 18 Charger 392).

hmm weird. Mine is exact opposite. 2fg drones as much as my corsa xtreme with downpipes.
Originally 2fg to 1fg then added downpipes and the rasp was embarrassing.

Ripped off the AWEas fast as I could to the corsa xtreme.

I bet it’s because you have downpipes. The cats change everything.

Awe drones more than corsa imo. That was without dp too.

AWE 0FG here. I’ve posted a lot about the system so I’ll spare all a complete rehash of my thoughts. I enjoy it. Be warned though it’s quite loud. Very nice cold start deep rumble.

I was torn between the Corsa Extreme and the 0FG initially. Got the AWE on a killer sale, installed myself, and have been very happy with it. This is the only aftermarket exhaust I’ve put on any vehicle so ymmv. Easy install, great tone, deep and loud. Plus the exhaust tips look great!

End of the day our engine won’t sound like a V8 no matter what option you choose. I didn’t expect it to sound like anything other than a mean v6 and have been quite pleased with the product AWE has put out.

That’s interesting though being as the 2FG keeps the OEM resonator in place. I’ve installed dozens of them and haven’t had anyone complain about droning.
