So you're not able to combine 3 or more smaller tanks ??
The biggest tank on raptor is 36gallon gasoline aka 133liter

Ur tank was 20x50 aka ~4000cubic inch aka 65.000cc or 65 liters
So unless my math is wrong ( and it can as i do it without a calculator
U should be ae to get same / more space for cng/lpg
see tank specs for 21x60 CNG takes up 127 CUFT per gasoline gallon equivalent.

72gallons volume that is indeed double the gastank so over 250 liters
Hmmm that is indeed big

Lets see if i can find multitank fittings
Going to scout arround and post my findings if any

I have had my '11 Raptor on CNG for about 22k, with no issues so far. My 24 GGE (gasoline gallon equiv.) tank takes up the same space as a toolbox (21"x60")
I can drive 250-300 miles on CNG before switching back to gasoline.

I have removed the fuel system in preparation of a Whipple supercharger with an upgraded CNG fuel system, as well as a more versatile alternative fuel controller. It will take 16 220# Bosch injectors to get enough fuel into the engine, and the same fuel controller will also drive a water/methanol system to keep temperatures down under boost.

It will be one hell of a truck once its done.

I will post some updates on project CNG Raptor v2.0 once i get things rolling.

Are you in the state of Oklahoma? I would love to take a closer look at what you've done.

@CNG Raptor

What cng kit are you running?

I've been considering a Raptor (new here - just test drove one over the weekend) and converting it to CNG (bi-fuel sys - ie, runs on gasoline or cng)

However, one of the systems - mentioned in this thread earlier - the PowerFuel system won't fit on a F150 and F150 Raptor (probably any) equipped with a 6.2L v8 Ford engine. Reason is the transmission on the F150 is not compatible at this time ... and/or the CNG system isn't programmed with the right code.

But, a F250 6.2L has a different trans and will work - b/c the coding has been completed.

So, I checked with another installer (of some other kit) and he thought he could do a Raptor - hope! - but then he looked into it more and said something similar to the other installer

Interested in what you've done CNG Raptor b/c I had contemplated the same thing.

thanks in advance for any additional info.

cng for 2014 raptor se

just got my se raptor. i had checked these forums for feedback on cng installs. looks like only one guy from texas responded then his truck ended up on ebay. i traded in my 2013 f250 cng 6.2l on this truck and have parts ordered for the install. i live in oklahoma so have lots of fill locations. i'm really surprised there is not more interest on the forum for this. we pay $1.4/gal. think about that next time you put $100 in at the pump, it would be $35 for cng. i'm just saying. saves enough to me to make a car payment. i'd be happy to tell my results in anyone cares
