Performance driving school is a great idea and I have done several already. Ran several times at Limerock, Las Vegas, Texas Motor Speedway, Etc...
The engine build, I've already sunk over $100k in the 810+Bhp engine with twin turbo so thats not going anywhere. That part is what it is.
Love the idea of converting to two Wheel Drive and loosing all that weight up front. I think thats a winner.
Love the idea of a compost and low weight bed and front fenders. Just need to find someone who will build it.
As for the interior weight in soundproofing, seats, etc... Thats a great idea if I were just making track runs but this is a 3000 Mile rally over 8 days. And it is a "Luxury Lifestyle Rally." Thats just not going to happen.
This whole thing is about rolling in style. Being comfortable doing so. Performing when needed, but the real key is personal endurance over the long run. Most of the guys running i the Lambos and Farrari are so miserable after four days because they are so tired of being confined. I like to run mean and with plenty of room and comfort. I find I get that in the Raptor. Just need to add more to the handling and starts. Thus the direction towards weight reduction.

Yes, The suspension is all reworked and we added traction bars, swapped out the Fox shocks for King, etc. That part of the performance package is not a problem. Just need to drop weight so the 810+Bhp, Twin Turbo engine is not having to fight against all that weight.

I gotta say that the cheap and easy way is not the direction you're heading with your build already, which would be the direction you would be heading it towards if you put an ls motor in, just get a built aluminum or titanium block based off the boss 6.2l, bored and stroked to 7.0l, it is a better design than the ls motors, just no one has taken it even near it's potential yet, remove the 4x4 system, but I'm not going to say removing the bed is a good idea, it's a pickup truck, people add weight to the rear end of drag trucks for a reason, get it weighed with scales at each wheel and remove and add stuff until you get a balanced weight distribution both front to rear and side to side, doing the weighing with you in the driver seat or something that could properly represent you would be the best way to do it

A titanium engine block? That is ridiculous! OK please tell me who is making a 6.2L Boss engine block out of titanium and what does it cost? :signs8:

OK, good luck with that, and somehow you think even if it was possible that it would somehow be cheaper than an LS7 that is readily available?
