Have them email it to you.Got my truck back yesterday from getting the cam phasers fixed. They make no noise now and the truck seems to run a lot better. No hesitation at all. Timing chain (or what I assume was that noise) is also gone. I asked them if they replaced the timing chain and they said they did not and that it was not damaged. Overall they only had it two days and its running great now. I do wish they would have given me paperwork that listed the part numbers used though.
Took my Raptor to the dealer for the last time, phasers #2 at 39,000. This is the third time its been in for phasers or phaser solenoids and the second time for axle bearings.... Shes gone.
Left with a 6.7 F250... Take care gents, best wishes on the forum. Always wanted to make a Baja trip.
@FordTechOne do you know how many man hours FMC compensates the dealer for replacing the cam phasers? I’m just curious if it is realistic or not?Sorry to hear your dealer did you dirty. Enjoy the new truck!
I am very concerned that I may be experiencing this cam phaser issue. Just started noticing this upon startup. I figured it was nothing.
thoughts? Sound is at :05
I’m not an expert but sure sounds that way...how many miles? Hard to tell with lighting but avalanche?
