No why would I? I already have an invoice saying it is $50 over.

A lot of people that ordered from them are getting emails saying they can not complete there order at $50 over invoice and will give them a refund if they don't want to purchase for MSRP. I ordered from them also at $50 over invoice but have not received that email, hoping I'm still good to go?

Have you seen any of these 'emails'? I would think that if we have a signed contract, that is as solid as it gets.

According to my Rep at Louisburg ~ everyone will be getting the emails. I'd call to double check, instead of hoping you are good to go, only to find out a couple months down the road they jacked the price up on you.

I have a signed "contract" (also known as the Purchase Agreement) and I got the email. Paid my Deposit and everything.

Here is the email, word for word, minus my name being changed :)

Hi DROPOUT,

News came down from Corporate this morning that the Raptor’s are no longer open allocation like it was in previous years. So, unfortunately we will not be able to sell these to our customers for $50 Over Invoice. We know this is not good news and believe me when I say we are not happy with the allocation process they have switched to. The cost you would be looking at is MSRP, so I understand if you would like to not order through us.

Obviously, I would credit you back your deposit if I have taken one if you decide not to buy from me.

Let me know.

Best Regards,

Jimmy

They can no longer order an "Unlimited" amount? Atleast that's how I took it.

I would ask for clarification, I don't think they could ever order unlimited, but I might be wrong. I know when I ordered my 2013, it was month to month that the dealer was told how many allocations they got. And they had to have a buyer to be able to even order that allocation, they were not allowed to order for stock. The whole thing doesn't make any sense to me.

Ok well spoke to a sales manager over there. Emails are correct. They are doing that because they have no idea of allocations at all. Will know more next week.

I have to give them props for being very honest and prompt on this info. Guess we will all see what happens. Offered me a total refund on my deposit if I wanted. I said not yet. Let's see what happens next week.

Honestly this is all ford's doing. Hell, they made people who wanted the decked out GT's write letters as to why they 'deserved' one, before they would sell them to the customers. So this is ford being aholes.

Honest, huh????

So because they took orders and money and now they can't sell as many as they can, they change attitude to renege on everyones signed purchase agreement that was between THEM and YOU, not between FORD and YOU, and that makes them honest? Because now they want more money from you even through you both agreed and SIGNED the agreement, they are not the ******* but Ford is? What?????

And I have no skin in the game here, I have no desire for a 17' gen2 but I have dealt with Louisburg before.

Ok here is the way I see it.

They can't sell what they don't have. They assumed, like most of us did, that they were going to get the allocations they did before. Well that isn't happening. So instead of saying, hold on just wait and let us hold yoru money, they went ahead and say if you want your money back, here you go.

As car dealers go, that is pretty honest to me.

What was signed was basically a preliminary agreement. If we can get you this car, at this price, you will buy it from us. Well they can't, least we don't think they can. So the agreement is void. It is the way 'deals' go sometimes.

Hard to get mad at the dealer, at least to me. They dont have the truck, can't sell it. That simple.
