I have a 2020 Leadfoot and went to drive a 2024 and 2025 802As yesterday. I have to say, while I love the new tech, i didn't like the softer ride, and the body roll. While comfortable over bumps and what not--i prefer the more high performance feel of my 2020.

But...with 78k miles on mine now, and having the transmission rebuilt, and corrections on follow up issues, it is likely time for a change.

Do the 801s drive different?

Hey there,

New member, longtime lurker!

Decided I'd go check out the 25 802A's as they're hitting the lots now. Dealer 3 miles from my house had one, great! Go to test drive it hit the gas peddle it goes a bit and the check engine light and alarms start going off, breaks won't work at all. It was definitely an adrenaline rush from a truck I'm looking for haha. Didn't get to drive it at all as it's in the shop indefinitely and the dealer is still insistent on a 15k ADM on the truck. Luckily searching around the country I've found an MSRP deal and will likely go with that one... but just for any prospective buyers, there are dealers out there just keep looking, after I've bought mine. ;)

Adding a bit more to the post with a question. I have an amazing late production 2020 Leadfoot that I've enjoyed all 37k miles I've put on her without any issues whatsoever. However one question for all you 24 and new 25 owners, how is the QC on these new raptors? I see the post about all the things you have to check for post delivery and am a bit worried given my personal experience and just reading through others posts. This won't stop me from my raptor addiction, but man!
I just got my 24 here end of October and haven’t had any issues but one which was the rear passenager side sensor being overly sensitive, I took it in for a break in oil change ag 1500 miles and had them recalibrate it, it worked better for a month or so but it’s starting to act up again. I know others have had issues with their moonroof leaking that’s been the primary QC issue I see on 24s besides the rear sensor but I also don’t think folks are being careful enough and avoiding drive through car washes which with the height of our trucks def will put pressure on those moonroof seams. Not saying that’s always the issue but def something to keep in mind.
