CA Smog on Raptor

The 7500 mile thing is the way CA DMV determine new vs used cars. If it's over 7500 miles, it's a used car, it does not need CA emission sticker, just need to pass CA smog test. If it has less than 7500 miles, it's a new car, and it must have CA emission sticker under the hood, and pass smog.

All 2017 Raptors are 50 state smog and California compliant.

Are you financing via the KS dealer? And what interest rate and length of
loan are you getting?

You must be pretty excited!

No idea of Rates or anything. I wouldn't do hat until we had a very firm date on everything. No way.

Oh and I always go for the longest time frame. There is never a pre payment penalty, so why not get the cheapest payment I can. I always try to pay more then the minimum.

Excited yes, but considering all they did, at this point, is promise me one, kind of hard to get too excited :)

So the benefit of buying out of state is... ?

ummm getting one at a very decent price.

I am from the CA desert. I am 40 min from glamis. So my dealer has a standard 10% ABOVE MSRP and they sell them all day long. I told him the deal I got and asked if he could come close, he just laughed.

That goes for 99% of the dealers within 200 miles of me.

Unless things have changed, you might have to get it weighed as well (because truck), if the DMV accepts the weight on the MSO, then take it. My experience has been the weight on the MSO tends to be light.

I've bought a few and never had that happen. Guess I will see.

As I said, it might have very well changed. Years ago a friend bought a new truck from out of CA and they made him weigh it, but...he had ****** tendencies, so that might have been it.
