Yeah, I was honestly very surprised that he offered on the Shelby... any specialty vehicle for that matter. I figure I have 6 months to figure it out. :)
It’s classified as a regular F150 probably with the Shelby bs on it as an aftermarket add. I think that’s why it gets the better rates.

I was wondering what the rules for buying a Raptor now are? I agree that it is better to take the car in instalments, especially since a friend told me that it can be very profitable. You wrote above about cashless payment. Is it really possible to give an advance and the store make a paystub?
Sorry to ask so many questions, but this is my first car and I am very nervous before buying one. I got my license two years ago and occasionally rented a car to practice, but now I feel confident behind the wheel and am ready to buy my dream car!

Would love to pay cash, but that gov't salary isn't going to cut it. I finance for as long as possible and usually pay off my vehicles within a year. Our other gig (real estate) is completely volatile on earnings, 2 months with 0 and then a month with something insane, especially in this market. I appreciate the info on rates for sure. If anybody hears of good rates for AD military, fire those away too. I usually just finance with the dealer and talk them into free goodies.
I just logged on to usaa, they offered 1.99 for 60, 2.39 for 74, 3.29 for 84. Dealer initially tried to sell me on like 4.25 saying it’s a good rate. after texting a screenshot of the 3.29 for 84 they offered me 3.07 for 84, which I took. Financing something like $55k. Credit 815+ so that didn’t hurt but point is that it’s possible to do long term with reasonable rate. Dealer allegedly has 12-13 banks to shop so they made it work, ford wasn’t only option. Will try the same tactic with warranty by showing them flood ford and see if dealer will beat or match. We shall see, taking delivery tomorrow.

Are you flipping or buy/remodel/hold to rent?
