Be my voice of reason please. Can I really afford the Raptor?

I got a pristine 2014 fully loaded Ruby Red with 4 year (from now) 100k bumper to bumper warranty for $45k. It only has 35k miles.

Got 3.9% financing for 64 months from the dealer, they matched my credit union. $0 down and my payment is $700

Mpg sucks at 13 but it takes 87 octane which offsets the higher mpg trucks imo

Can get a new 2018 for mid $50s with 4 more years of life left in it. $2.5k/yr discount for used didn't make any sense to me. I never bought a new vehicle in my life, but I bought a new Raptor because used prices were so ridiculously high.

If you can get a loaded 2018 Supercrew for mid 50's let me know and I will drive there this weekend and trade in my 14.

MSRP with similar options (tech package, heated cooled seats, etc) is $68k. $60k with the 801A package to compare apples to apples.

Also try to determine what depreciation will cost you. Ie for me my last F150 cost me $42k with add ons which I thought was crazy high. I drove it 5 years, 50k miles and only deprecated $10k when I sold it. So only cost about $166 a month so really dang good if you ask me.

The only thing that matters is you are happy with your choice and I am happy with mine.

Actually what matters is if I can get a new Raptor for mid 50s I could be MUCH happier with my choice.
