Long Trip in the Raptor Pulling an RV Trailer

I tow a 31’ trailer with my truck. Running the SVC Baja v3 rear bumper as well. 37s, 4.56 gear ratio, Deaver +3 with a 2” shackle, Gen 2 coils, Eibach springs, and KHC coil buckets.

I average about 7.5 mpg going up hills in CO and 25mpg on the way down.

With the generator and dirt bike in the back, I only sag about 1.5” compared to front. Im normally a 1” rake so only low in the back 0.5” fully loaded, including full water tank. A good WD hitch makes a big difference.

Hi, there; how is the truck handles in windy days or when a 18wheeler pass by? I’m looking into buying a travel trailer too, the one I’m looking at is Jayco jayfeather 24bh, gvwr at 7500lbs and 30 feet long. Do you think our trucks capable?

I've logged a few more trips with the trailer and the Raptor. It pulls like a dream. Went to Corpus Christi and are planning another trip to Fredericksburg for a wine tour soon.

I average 12 pulling our Airstream. Been to Denver many times with the trailer from Santa Barbara. Raptor has no issues at all, even over steep grades.
