Blew up my converter in a classic bone head move...I won't elaborate, but it wasn' the ground. Should have the replacement in today and hopefully pull off the install tonight.

dont worry, crap like that happens a lot. just make sure not to do it twice. need wiring help?Ok....so everything was going smooth due to this thread and the pass through video. I had the passenger side hooked up and tested...looked great.
This is when I made a bonehead mistake. I stripped the connector adaptor and instead of keeping the wires seperate, I twisted them together and connected one 18 guage wire to the adaptor and the second light strip.
Took me about an hour of looking at it before I figured out what I did. If this doesn't make sense let me know and I'll post a couple of photos of what NOT to do.
Placed an order late on Saturday for some replacement parts....this time shipping is taking forever....parts still in CA.
Hope this helps someone not make the same mistake I did.
