Automatic Door Unlock Feature

Do the new Raptors have the new automatic door unlock feature that unlocks the door for you if it sense you have the key in your possession.

No. And it makes me mad that a $30K Fusion has this feature and we don't.

Be grateful you don't have to use the key to actually unlock the door, as in insert it and turn like the good ole days....

^ Wait a minute, you mean people had to actually DO that to get inside of a car/truck before? LOL And then I heard there was also talk of having to actually "turn" the key in an ignition cylinder to start up cars too - crazy, I tell ya!

its a specialty offroad vehicle. we paid a lot of money for a vehicle that we can drive off the lot into the desert or sand dunes. if its something you really want, you can add it, but remember what the purpose of this truck is.

I noticed that an Escape I rented had the moving track lines added to the backup camera view (lines moved with the steering wheel). It also had the proximity sensor/pushbutton ignition. You're seeing manufacturers drop that stuff into $25k cars now.

It's ridiculously convenient to lock/unlock/start/stop the vehicle without ever taking the keys out of your pocket.

I'm sure lots of folks would have given Ford another $400 or so, especially since there are people spending $1k on stickers.

How about two keys? One for the doors and one for the ignition. God forbid if we had two keys. Lol

Yeah, it's a purpose built off-road truck. It also has a feature in the seats that cool my ass in the Texas heat in the summer. This is a luxury vehicle. It shouldn't be behind the times. To think that it was just this model year that we got HIDs when those have been around for 10 years.
