Definitely won't do to money reasons, but the other reason is the engine. I can't wrap my head around a Raptor, or any pickup for that matter, with a v6 turbo, they belong in cars.
I know Ford is trying to meet EPA regs, but maybe try getting better mpg's from a few other cars in their line up to meet the epa's averages and leave the special edition cars alone (raptor, GT).
The new Mustang gt350r gets a good ol' V8, why not he Raptor??
LAME!!!
Update: A friend of mine just picked up a new F-150 Eco-Gay, he talks about it like Ford pulled the engine from the Millennium Falcon.
V6 twin turbos have been around since the early 90's in Supras, rx7's, 300z's, they stopped making them cause they said it cost to much to make, now apparently it's cost effective, i'm confused??
