Anyone know of a nice screen protector they would recommend?

Ha ha...nice !
Better safe than sorry.

The Ford screen feels much tougher than the softer screen in my previous Dodge.
The light blue colored background has not shown any finger prints.
The black Dodge screen showed every one.
Although placement/orientation in the vehicle may contribute to this.

As someone who has repeatedly demonstrated the inability to install any screen protector or sticker without the accompanying bubbles even with a lubricant...
How do you all do it ??

I’m typically an ocd guy that leaves the plastic film on screens and phones and other things for as long as I can but my nav screen looks as good as day 1 (Oct 2018) without one.

I know this is going to sound sarcastic so forgive me but what makes you think you need one? I've owned 5 different vehicles with touchscreens and none had issues

Is it just the "anti-explosion layer" that you liked, or are there additional properties that you found attractive?
I actually purchased three and returned the two I thought were not as good quality. To be honest, I can’t recall why I didn’t like the other two, I do recall this one seemed to be more transparent and the other two had a slight tint. Here are some quick pictures I just took, this one isn’t a perfect fit, slightly smaller than the screen, but I did not try to dry fit the other two I returned.
Hope this helps

Doesn't sound sarcastic at all, I plan on keeping the truck a long time and for the minor amount of money I would rather give the screen a little protection from "shit happens" kinds of things.

Eliminate sun glare and fingerprints completely is why I have it.

Better to be safe than sorry. Just making sure I wasnt susceptible to a weird fault or some final destination type failure haha

As a fingerprint preventer I can see the use but I havent really had any issues with glare but I definitely need to do some more testing with the moon roof shade open
