The synthetic blend is okay for 5k miles but its got a high NOAC of just over 15% which is why it didn't receive Dexos cert. I switched out of that stuff early on.My 2020 did this as well with both motorcraft blend they use at the dealership and full synthetic. My 22 is starting to do the same with 6k miles
Mine has an audible rattle, almost like the cam phaser rattle but from under the cab not hood and never stops when idling, and definitely isn’t something normal. My 100k mile g2 was much smoother. There isn’t anything likely wrong with the rig. My 23 will idle around 500-600rpm in D and had a noticeable slight rough idle. I really think if they bumped the RPM to 700 it would be fine this isn’t a Diesel. Ironically, my 3.0 Diesel idles at 700rpm and is smoother. Likely this has something to do with emissions.
I wish my problem was that. It’s nowhere near the valves and my truck doesn’t fall in the datesThat’s the well known exhaust valve rattle which there is a TSB out to fix
