Anyone has a roughish idle (vibration) but only when stopped at D or R?

I notice similar when the engine is cold but not so much after its at operating temp. What kind of oil are you using. I find using good quality synthetic with good sus viscosity #’s / film strength really help to quiet things down.

I have this and the dealer can feel/hear it but can’t figure out why. They said there is nothing they can do for it but I told them I don’t think rattling that you can hear from 10ft away and enough to shake the seats and cubbies is acceptable. It’s very noticeable and multiple people riding with me commented on it. To me, it looks like the exhaust hanger is at a bad angle and hitting metal next to the transfer case. Also, exhaust is misaligned so it has an exhaust leak on the same pipe that is vibrating so bad.

My 2020 did this as well with both motorcraft blend they use at the dealership and full synthetic. My 22 is starting to do the same with 6k miles

There isn’t anything likely wrong with the rig. My 23 will idle around 500-600rpm in D and had a noticeable slight rough idle. I really think if they bumped the RPM to 700 it would be fine this isn’t a Diesel. Ironically, my 3.0 Diesel idles at 700rpm and is smoother. Likely this has something to do with emissions.

The synthetic blend is okay for 5k miles but its got a high NOAC of just over 15% which is why it didn't receive Dexos cert. I switched out of that stuff early on.

Mine has an audible rattle, almost like the cam phaser rattle but from under the cab not hood and never stops when idling, and definitely isn’t something normal. My 100k mile g2 was much smoother.

That’s the well known exhaust valve rattle which there is a TSB out to fix
