Does anyone know if the Vegas Hotel has been determined yet? I already missed out on the group buy for Laughlin because I kept relying on the five 2 productions website

I spoke with laughlin Harrah' s and booking said that we could still use the code as long as rooms were available. Raptor nationals f.b. page said the 7th was cutoff ,but no info was given till three days before cutoff. No info for the vegas hotel as of yet. I'd still call laughlin and get in on it.

What a the FB page? I found one for 2014 Raptor Nationals but it doesn't say anything about group hotel rate.

And/or what is the code I need to use when making a res?

It's on the main Raptor Nationals Facebook page, ot on the 2014 one. t's a link shared on the right column of their page with a big logo for VORE but you have to click "see more" to read the whole post. Anyhow, it took me forever to find so I am copying and pasting the whole message for you here:

I just booked Harrah's and the group rate is definitely still available. Good deal compared to the $130 room I was about to book thinking the group rate was over. As for Vegas, I went ahead and booked Planet Hollywood.

My son and I are leaving Torrance, CA early Thursday morning driving to Parker, AZ then to Phoenix and ready for Friday morning. Anything happening on Thursday night for those of us getting there a day early?

Checking on everyone's status... who's ready to go? Does everyone have radios, and aside from the weatherman and bfg (recommend frequencies for this run) is there a good standard set of channels commonly programmed?

Just about set, need some fluids, belts and some hoses. Doubt they will be needed but its better to be safe. Barring any complications I should be leave the Torrance/South Bay area around 5pm Thursday night. Staying at the Days Inn off 17 and Deer Valley Rd.

I'm at a loss as to how much fluids I need to bring...? A friend tells me that I should bring enough for a fluid change, my wife thinks I should pack an extra truck..if you're losing enough to bring 7 qts of oil I'd say a tow strap is better. I was going to bring a quart or two of oil, a quart of tranny, and some p.s. fluid and coolant.
