EVs have to make up in speed what they lose in recharging times. Truck batteries will rarely be fully charged while on the road and you literally have to schedule breakfast, lunch, and dinner when planning to charge a truck. Even then you are lucky to get 20-30% added charge after 1 to 1 1/2 hours... fast chargers are not always available. Lastly... plan to cut your distance to 1/2 when towing.

I will pass on EVs for now but will be interesting when Ford will come out with a plug-in hybrid Raptor in the next gen.

I guess we all have different opinions about it.

I love the way they drive. Instant acceleration, torque even when cruising, no transmission shifts, and I love the regen braking. I also feel like they handle well. They seem planted. AWD and optimal COG when paired with a smart torque system make them handle well compared to counterparts.

Imagine your masculinity being so fragile that it's threatened by what powers someone else's vehicle. They don't make men like they used to.

My comment was directed towards every hanging-by-a-thread ego in this thread (not that meme), but I'm sure he appreciates you running to his defense.

Don't worry little snowflake those big bad EVs won't come to hurt you and if they do our Raptors are enormous there's plenty of room to hide behind them :)

You think "snowflake" is name calling? No men left in the place you're too embarrassed to say you're from I guess :hahano:

We’re talking about the Lightning, not a car. Also have this if it makes you feel better
