I love my Milwaukees. 1/2" impact, hammer drill, standard drill and Sawzall. I also like the fact that you can just buy the tools and not have to have different batteries for each one. I have brought the impact on every Run I've been on, and its been used countless times.

And yes the Milwaukee Impact is 700 ft. lbs.

I have to say, at HITH, Cullen and I had to install stock rims and tires that we bought from Todd Dessain and even with a large breaker bar and Cullen and I both standing on it with a cheater we couldn't break the lug nuts loose from where I had the twenties rotated. Big Blue offered to let us use his cordless impact and it spun those lugs off like butter. GREAT impact indeed!

I have a compressor and carry an air impact but it only works for quick bursts, if you are going to run an air impact it would have to be off a CO2 tank to be very useful. I borrow my dads electric snap on impact when I go offroad because the air one is almost useless

Srry had to included the fact of having a good sized compresser tank offcourse

the air is nice to have for air ups and random pressue adjustments and an air horn but its worthless for much else unless you have a huge tank and i don't think that's something any one is going to want on their truck since it will take up too much room.

electric impact is the way to go!

Technology has come a long way in just five years. Most of the top brands in cordless impact wrenches can do the job each and every time. The day has come you can now purchase a cordless impact wrench that can stay up with a top rated air wrtench. Now that is saying something.

Actually they are pretty good. They don't hold a charge as long as some others but over all its a good unit.

Your right....it is a good wrench. Frankly, just about any of the standard brands on the market now will work for the home garage do it yourselfer. Now most can not match a well made air wrench in power (sic IRw7150) but they will do all we will ever need in the our little DIY world.
