I would like to make a suggestion here.
With all that time and effort to install this system,
they still make you use those little air filters sucking in all the hot air the intercooler and radiator is throwing at it.
I'm not even going to mention the heat from the exhaust and turbos but I did.

I would do a CAI on both sides. relocate the washer fluid tank and the battery.
If you ever do go with the **** that would be the time to look into that.

Also, hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's actually 800nm, or 590 lb ft of max input torque, so if you're driving it appropriately that ****** is gonna go boom any day now

I don't think that is correct. As I understand it- it IS rated at 800 ft-lbs, but that includes the multiplication of the torque converter. So when you back that out, you end up with around 450 ft-lb "engine capacity". Just above what the 6.2L is rated at.

Personally, I think the trans will be fine if he doesn't flat out abuse it. A turbo setup is a LOT easier on parts than a PD blower setup, and the guys with those aren't spitting transmissions left and right. Some tweaks to the line pressure may be worth it- talk to the tuner about what they can do with that.

lol, I was exaggerating just a smidge, but it definitely says 800nm, yet real world feedback from Mustang guys has shown it will safely hold 1000whp with a good tune, the tune is key!!! However you also need to factor in that those cars are ~2500lbs lighter, and as such all of the drivetrain components are also lighter, the wheel and tire combo alone probably ~100-120lbs of rotating mass. So you're really working in grey area to be quite honest.

All is definitely not lost though, unlike the 6.2L, we share the transmission with the Mustang crowd so if it does shit the bed aftermarket support is abundant. Power by Hour has a kit that I think is like 1k and knocks out the only 2 issues people have ever really seen: the clutch packs and the intermediate shaft.

Again, I hate to sound like I'm crapping on your build because it's one of the coolest things I've seen on here in a long time! Just wanted to make you aware, I personally would just find the lightest wheel and tire combo possible, hook up a good set of traction bars, and get AFEs transmission and axle covers with the extra capacity and magnetic plugs.

Where are you seeing the N-m rating? I've always read that it's rated in ft-lbs.

I can see the axles being a weak link too, given they are longer than typical axles due to the wider housing.

Yours looks identical to my setup. I'm only running 5-6psi so I'm not making nearly the power you're making, but I'm glad to see your setup looks like mine. I just bought my 14 with only 15k miles on it. Mine has a 6" lift and 37's so I need all the help I can get to move this thing down the road. Hopefully it'll be a FUN reliable truck for years to come. Thanks for all the info.
