If the problem becomes a big enough issue, Ford will be forced to issue a recall/repair. All the other truck manufacturers would love to market to that weakness.

Don't expect Ford or anyone at Ford to issue some statement or apology as some seem to expect. It seems like many want Ford to rub their own noses in their own poop. There will be on ah-ha I caught you moment.

Maybe this is something to be brought up during the SVT visit...

I am sure Matt (bluesti) or Keith (wiz1500) will bring it up! Lol

Well until you have done the job you don't know what your talking about now do you?

Nope. I don't know a ****** thing. I freely admit I know ABSOLUTELY nothing about ANYthing.

But, since we're on the subject....HAVE you done the SAME thing on a standard F150?

:perkinswhatever:

Since the Raptor is built on the same assembly line with other F150s, I would assume they have the same frame & cab, etc.... It wouldn't make sense to have 2 different frames/cabs on the same assembly line.

Frames between Raptors and the rest of the F150s are different. Since the beginning they have always been different. Adding extra metal to the bump stop area of the frame is just evolution. All models evolve over time to improve on the original design. Won't make the 10 thru 12 model any less desired because the opportunity is there to improve the frame with aftermarket support. Same frame supports that the 13 will need anyways once pushed hard enough.
