No I haven't drilled on any regular F150's I was helping out a fellow FRF member to install a light here at my home since I have the tools. The same type of drill bit that would not drill through the roof drilled through the frame and other parts of the Raptor like butter. Just trying to make the point that yes the roof definitely has some kind of super strong reinforced hardened steel in it.

:)

That's all I was saying. Where you drilled may have had something there. Doesn't suddenly make it special to the Raptor. We have to know the regular F150 is different before we can make these assumptions.

Deuchebag

All this crap should be removed from the site. Its disrespectful to all those who post useful information and counter productive to the site. A bully on keyboard...what a joke.

Not offensive to who? This is not a 2 person conversation/forum. Others have to weed through through the garbage for good information?

What if another poster has a 12 year old is into off-roading and modding. They have to hear this also? Do you act like this is a crowd? In front of your kids? A little respect that's all.

Hey I just had to weed through two of your posts so your not helping the situation by complaining but making it worse. Just let it go and get back on subject.

I would be interested to know if this mystery metal is specific to the Raptor cab, or if it exists in all F150s. My money says.......

My guess is its in both trucks but would be cool to find out if its Raptor specific. Same as the frame reinforcement, is it Raptor specific and is it the same hardened material as in the roof. Someone go drill a hole in your frame.

Does the 2013 have a harder roof? What about sunroof models?

Some 2013 owner should let me borrow their truck and I will see if I can bend the rear frame :waytogo:

I tried pretty damn hard on the sema run, but unfortuantely I have a stronger frame AND stage 3, no bending here... Think of it as wearing two condoms when you pick up a dirty girl...
