Hey guys,

I'm looking at buying a 2011 Ford Raptor with 106000 miles on it for $17,500 with clean title, brand new tires, and brand new shocks. Frame isn't bent, rust is not bad.

Alright now for the issues, it's had three owners. It's got a few dents on the body. Its abs, break, and traction control dash lights are on. It's got one broken a/c vent and a broken driver-side seater heater. It definitely needs some TLC, but all those problems seem pretty manageable when the truck runs great, has only 106000 miles, and is only $17,500. Does this seem like a deal to you? Here's a few pics:

If you're gonna use it as a truck and not get buried in unnecessary upgrades & mods; thats a reasonable price. Then, I'd find a mechanic who can meet up with you and run all the codes and do an inspection. That might cost as little as $200. If you have the time, pull fluid samples from the trans & motor & overnight them to Blackstone Laboratories. That's less than $100.

If you can get in to a mechanically sound Gen 1 for around $18K, (and you don't need to drop another $3000 anytime soon for fresh tires & shocks), that's a reasonable investment that you should be able to daily drive for a couple years. A similar clean F150 with the Lariat package and no mods would probably be about the same price.

@thatJeepguy Just because of the body damage? The cosmetic stuff really doesn’t bother me.
Yes the body damage, the 5.4 kinda blows and the tires. And after 3 owners whatever else is hiding in that thing. Don't ever pop the first thing you see. Like the others said also get someone (professional mechanic) to inspect prior to purchasing anything used.
