    Originally I wanted them color matched to the OEM Magnetic gray color. That got misinterpreted to body color, e.g. AG. That was in TN, where I took delivery. I didn't have the time to burn more days in TN to have it corrected, so I got it worked out to have it corrected in by MD Line-X...

    I'd agree that ceramic coatings are too thin and not for protecting against stripes. IMO, vinyl might be the cheapest, easy on/off route. Way cheaper than PPF, and you could probably add multiple layers for extra protection. You can buy large rolls of the stuff from Amazon....or hit your doors...
