Guys,
Any idea if the stock TPMS sensors can be pulled from the stock wheels/tires and put onto aftermarket wheels and tires? I know some OEM wheels it is very difficult to remove the sensors without breaking them.... I ordered Method wheels and new tires, had them balanced and shipped to me and completely forgot about the TPMS sensors. :slap:

should not be any problem with that, many ppl here have swapped their stock tires and tpms to the new wheels.

I replaced my wheels and tires and kept the stock sensors

I had the shop add a TPMS sensor to the spare today so I can rotate it in with the rest. Better than having a new ko2 and beadlock rotting away under the truck.

What is your rotation pattern going to be?

I too want to do a 5 tire rotation

Why didn't Ford provide a TPMS in the spare? I assume it's only to save $.

Is there any issue running 5 TPMS at the same time?

Ford's TPMS can only sense 4 at a time. Jeep actually monitors 5, I wish ford did the same. The system has to be retrained every time you rotate. There is instructions to do this in the manual if your doing it yourself.

maybe not 100% true. i got ford tpms from ford performance and 6 in rotation. no re learning or reprogramming. it is picking them up automatically.
