I highly doubt that the groud in going to thaw from 2 days of warmish weather. There might be a little dirt but it won't be a mud fest. The ground in the UP is pretty hard right now.

Where I am we're forecasted to get 8" between tomorrow and Friday.

And usually when it snows here, it heads that way. Just depends if its a large enough system to make it that far.

Just got back from a 3 week trip to Cadillac MI and I gotta say that I was super impressed by how the truck handles in the snow. It took everything we threw at it.. from deep snow, mud and ice, to some rescues, and even a couple hill climbs near the local ski hill. Really sucks I can't make it out this year but thought this would be a good place to leave a little clip I got of a fun corner near my house.
