I may registering a second time to better my chances.

Right now I have 4 led flashlights taped in the cutout. Looking pretty ghetto.

Guys getting bed racks built by WSI NEED to check the bed bolts first. I'm having troubles removing mine.
Best to be safe then sorry.

I got a call today from another local Raptor owner that can not remove his bolts, so this suggestion by Ironman is important!!!

How many guys/girls are planning to install their rack at the event???

I can bring my Cordless Impact wrench and t50 with me if there is a need.

You will not be able to remove these bolts with handtools...

If you bought a Wouxun, I think you're going to need the battery eliminator/cig adapter to make the radio last all day. If I make it up I'll bring a bunch with me, or I can ship them to Kanakry. They will be $18 each.

are there any other accessories that would be helpful?

I am planning on it, tactfully of course. That is one of the reasons I am trying to get everything worked out, tested, and proven before SNOball 500. This way if they bite and are interested I can show them difference between stock and fixed.

Greg, I knew where you stood on the issue. Glad you are going to bring it up.

It doesn't seem the anyone else on here is really looking at it? Are all Ford 4x4 systems engaged this way?

I will have my impact with me also...CT7850, 18V Lithium Cordless Impact Wrench (U.S.)
"Bolt Break Away Torque, ft. lbs. (N•m) 700 (949)"
We will get something to happen with this...(Good or bad)

That being said I would suggest that anybody looking to do an install on the run make sure that you loosen the bolts before hand to make sure they are free. I will have a mini torch with me but we don't want to shit show with bolts out in the woods.

All modern Ford shift on the fly systems operate this way. Granted they have made improvements to the system. Before the vents were just open on back side of hubs, then they extended them up to the frame. Which is better, but still band aids the issue.

Main thing I have experienced or noticed is don't switch back and forth between 2wd and 4wd when playing in the mud.. It will suck that shit into the hubs!
