Driving my truck home today and the CEL came on. It was the P04DB code:
(The engine control system has detected an improper connection/installation of the engine crankcase hoses)


When I was looking at the engine bay it looked like the dealership was messing around with my aftermarket COI during my oil change (looking for filter I assume) and didn’t put it back together properly.

Would that cause this error code to come up?
I cleared code after making sure all hoses were properly installed and will have to see if it comes back tomorrow.

Check your dipstick to ensure it’s fully seated in the tube. It will throw a CEL if it isn’t.

Re threaded oil cap and took dipstick out and put in back in just incase it caused it we shall see

I’m confused, is this forum only for gen 3 owners? Because I’v been on here ever since my gen 2 purchase in 2020 before gen 3’s were out.
