Pro: If applied correctly, they look great.

Con: They fade. The longer you keep it in the sun, the faster they fade.

The poor quality ones fade, if you get good quality it holds up pretty good, you just have to take care of it.

Why not wrap over the graphics?! There was a night raptor build a while ago, I apologize I can't remember who it was and they did something similar. It looked awesome! Considering doing this myself for a hood wrap.

It gives a subtle look but looks great if the sun or light hits it on an angle and dust will stick in the edges giving it a 3d look. You get to keep your graphics even if you wanted to remove the wrap one day.

I think I know the truck you're talking about..

It is really cool, but they used 3 layers of stickers underneath to give it the embossed effect. I'm not sure if one will really stand out. Also it is more visible under certain colors. It shows up really well on the blue but almost disappears on the black(unless its dirty, then it gets a cool ghosted look)

On the install photo you can see the sticker on the hood before they covered it.

I am also interested in possibly getting this done to my truck. Anyone know of a place in either MS or GA?

Man I am super jealous. All these rides look awesome! What kind of care and upkeep would you say a wrap requires? Lex Motorsports, what would it run you to wrap the whole truck? How do you think it would look if you did just the grey parts and plastic of the truck (louvres, side mirrors, fender flares, lower part of rear bumper)?

The up keep is hand wash only. Car wash soap is to harsh, it must be a ph balanced soap.

As for wrapping the hood luvors and such, it would be very difficult, but probably could be done for the right price.

gotcha. I wasnt sure if it were even possible just throwing out ideas. I am seriously considering the grey parts of the bumpers and fender flares though.
