The lock pins are aluminum and will brake over time. I didn't have the problem but I know someone who has....

They are very weak in certain spots as I've also broken one. What most people don't know is that Aerocatch also sells a metal pin to replace the thin aluminum one's.

Just something to keep in mind.

wiz, do you have standard general grabber red letters or do they make a red letter with a higher speed rating than Q? Also have you ever used any tires other than the stock bfgs and the general grabber red letters, and which are your favorite tires?

I had the DOT 35" Grabbers on my truck.
They do have there place and are absolutely awesome in the desert dirt. But the mud and snow performance wasn't quit up to what I needed..
When I went out west to run the Land Rush I had Connors guy's hook me up with 5 brand new 35" Toyo's..

By far the best tire I have put on the truck for my needs..
Great snow and mud performance the do seem a little twitchy at high speeds but I didn't play with PSI at all and this might be fixed with that.

The Genrals seemed more planted at the 25 PSI mark I was running each set at..

Grant had a set made out of Stainless Steel to hold his bed cover down..
Broke both..
The cover is very heavy and that adds to the problem for sure..
Just be careful and watch the weight your holding with them..
Thanks for the input AII

Good to see you over here now Wiz! How is that trans cooler working out? Since my last trip to the dunes and overheating both my trans and engine it's time to look at upgrades.

All though I was happy with the hand made SVT It just didn't sit right with me because I welded the letters on the wrong dam side..Every time I looked at it I would look right at the welds..lol...
So I had a buddy carve a plate for me..

I even put my daughter to work..

Also at this time I decided to weld the High lift mounts in...All though they never moved it just looked like it was a bolt on and not a fab piece. I guess it looked like a bought piece and not hand made....
This was in process we finished them up pretty good..

I also decided to do a flag mount..

Absolutely no issues yet... It's nice to have the second fan to turn on. I also have a Auto meter G3 trans gauge on it..I have not seen anything above 210*F.
Thanks for the welcome..
