Interior lights..
These were not factory..
I think this is one of the mods i'm most proud of..
Every bulb in the truck is now a LED..
ALL dash peices were removed taken apart and changed to red..It looks factory and most people don't even realize that it's been done..
The only things that are not red are the map lights and the instrumentation lighting..
The map lights are now super bright white LED's and the inst. is stock...
WHY ?? you ask ???
The deal is for the most part my truck follows the rule of "form follows function"
Red interior lights are just unusable and you can't see shit in the truck at night when your looking around for stuff..This goes for the gauge cluster they become unreadable at night...
Now for the pictures..
The hemo's are holding the factory LED that had to be unsoldered then a red one solder in..

026-1.jpg
Sorry about the fuzzy pic.. But this is how the LED's come. There in a strip.

The HAVAC unit was a concern because of the replacement cost should a mistake be made..
Thankfully all went good.

Test..
019-2.jpg
Also the window switches were very nerve racking..
When they are assembled it's a one time deal they are not designed to be serviced or taken apart..
010-4.jpg
You actually have to brake the clips off to get them apart..A little CA glue during reassemble and all is good..
This is where the clip is.

004-9.jpg
Rear window switch..
027.jpg
This was just the HAVAC done..
I started with the hardest one..
025-1.jpg
Door lock and window switch..
028-2.jpg
I am not a photographer so I had problems trying to get shots of the lights at night..
My wife got a new camera for X-mas so I will try and get some good shots for you guy's tonight..

Very nice Keith. I know what you mean about too much red lighting. My Pontiac is all red on the dash and I can't read anything in the daytime either. There is not enough contrast between red and black.

I have been thinking one of the first things would be to switch to SS lines.

Mud flaps..
Yes they are universal flaps..
Universal MSpec Mud flap Red logo, Rally Armor
I have to give a big thanks to WG for helping me with this..
We went threw a very long proces to design a bracket that was usably front and back to hold the flaps correctly..many patterns were made then we had the final one lazer cut into 2 sets.. There are only 8 of these brackets in the world..lmao.

008-13.jpg
This was a hand made prototype.
013-11.jpg
It needed just a little tweaking..
012-14.jpg
Here are the lazer cut pieces we elected to cut them with out the holes just because this is very critical and I wanted to make sure they were right..
001-24.jpg
After all the holes were marked and a hole templet was made they were sent to the powder guy..
002-28.jpg
003-27.jpg
And of course I can not find a picture of the finished bracket on the truck...*****....Maybe WG has one laying around and can throw it up for me.. If not I will take one...lol
You can kinda see it here..
022-13.jpg
Here is another shot with my "very happy" wife helping me strip the truck of all stickers before we wrapped it...You can see the bracket pretty good here.
002-41.jpg
Found one..

O and this is what happens when you have your daughter help you with taking pictures...LMAO

019-11.jpg
Yep these are in my truck build folder...lolol...

AFE..
Standered issue BUT....
Two things...The black connectors on these units are cheap and will fail...I have seen it my self on MANY trucks.. I highly recommend changing all connectors to malty layer turbo boots. Jason at SDHQ can hook you up him and I have had conversations about it..
038-4.jpg
Also...Make sure you secure your small vacume lines with clamps.. These will fall off and you will have unfiltered and unmetered air entering the motor on the wrong side of the Mass air censor..
This is me putting the hoses back on Johns truck when I road codriver with him on the desert heat run out west..Yes clamps were installed at this time...
230.jpg
All though there is an oil seperator in this picture you get the point these are the hoses that NEED to be clamped. This is regardless of what CAI you have..
009-29.jpg

Here it is I found the pic...
THESE NEED TO BE CLAMPED..

Edit: Found another pic.

Wiz’s words are the Gospel! (Truth, -from Experience).

Why is the oil seperator needed? Value?

There are some threads on this Greg has done a great job bringing people up to speed. The bottom line is keeping your injectors and throttle body clean. The truck will use oil and the factory baffling for the PVC system is good but could be better. I have pictures but I'm at work right now on my phone. I'll get a few up later. Thus is not about making H.P. but about keeping it. A very good investment

Thanks again. I think I am gonna need some of those brackets some how. I live on a dirt road and I am getting sick and tired of having dirty hands before I get to work. Dirty hands are for at or after work, not before

got a dumb question. i know its a small mod compared to all the things u got goin on lol. the svt raptor vinyl under the 6.2L emblem is something i have been thinking about adding but been holding off because i wasnt sure if stuff getting kicked up off the front tire would ruin them and make them look like crap. how did yours hold up?
