Local service find out second same colored wires!!! And they are connected and have power. So there is 2 bundle of wires. Same colored, one is more center, it's don't have power. Second is more lateral to the passenger it's powered.

Dumb question, but how are you checking the wires to determine if there is no power? Are you using a volt meter? Is the switch on?

There is a bulkhead on the passenger side of the firewall. When facing the firewall, the powered wires are to the left of the bulkhead and the pass through are on the right. They are folded back and wrapped into the loom.

Has anyone found out how to make the auxiliary / upfitter switches able to have power when the truck is off? I found a youtube video of someone running a separate wire to the switch itself. They did a proof of concept from a battery but were wanting to run from the in cab fuse box or battery itself. I was hoping for something more simple like in the 250's.

Maybe I'm colorblind but I swear some of my wires aren't the same color breakdown.

I'll try and get some pictures tonight, I have my AUX 3 hooked to rear lights and the wire is Yellow/Gray

Ford really needs to update their 2018 owners manual / supplement guide for the Raptor as the upfitter switch wiring guide shows colors which don't exist so thanks for the post above.

On another note, my Aux 2 wire does not power on with the switch so hoping it is a blown fuse but this would be odd because I took delivery of the truck yesterday so how / why would a fuse be blown? However, I did read where another gen 2 owner had Aux 2 fuse blown upon delivery.

Lastly, I would like to allow backup lights to be powered on when the truck is in reverse OR via an upfitter switch but hoping to avoid having to run a dedicated wire from the rear of the truck all the way to the bulkhead. Anyone know where the reverse wire can be found so that I can tap into it from within the cab or engine bay? (I will add a diode to prevent reverse feed if need be.)

do a search over on the gen 2 lighting forum; there’s (at least one) thread, containing an argument over the proper way to wire a relay that has the data in it if I recall correctly. I just wired to aux6 for a set of LED cubes out back, but I wouldn’t mind wiring in a relay and reverse as well.

I ran a 12v always hot lead up to the upfitters per the youtube video. Works great. You can do switches 1-4 or 5&6 as always on. (I did 5&6 for camper shell dome light/outlets)

I had a blown fuse in aux3 from the showroom floor.

Made me feel like I was nuts for about 20 minutes till I checked the fuse.

BTW. The owners manual is Sort of right for the fuse positions.

Fuse 14 is NOT an unused spare like the owners manual says. It actually powers the blind spot system.
