What kind of tint is everyone using on the windshield that runs radar detectors? Ive read windshield tint will interfer with range, maybe performance altogether.

Not sure of brand, but I have Ceramic and have a Uniden R3. Have not noticed any difference. Still picks up way farther than I anticipated.

I went with ceramic window tint to match the back and a clear on the inside of the front windshield

I just went 20% on the front Driver and passenger to match the rear, no windshield tint. Lots of buddies do it but I'm nervous of getting pulled over for it...

Mine is only 70% did just to prevent heat (ceramic)

Just got done today! Expel XR plus, 15 fronts, 30 backs, 30 sunroof, 55 windshield. Everything matches perfectly.

Mine is a clear tint that just takes out the UV rays.
