agree with others, the size, price, noise, all play a factor in how long you can keep it or stand to keep it. jobs change, life changes, ect. also they keep having issues like crazy, but thats none of my business.

I have zero issues, best ford truck I have owned and that's 7 of them , trying to sell at a premium and get a 18

With hard-to-get vehicles, there are sometimes folks who will get one just because they can, drive it long enough to get the gist, then sell it while the demand is still high.

I know a guy who has done that with a couple of Vipers and a ZR1 'vette.

I wasn't even looking for a truck when I bought mine,! Had to have it ! Replaced my daily driver which is a Porsche Cayenne GTS,

Yep.. 26 sold at Mannheim across the country since 7/18/17 . 6 months back they would average 71500 on the block , today 65k projected next month 64k.
Something I thought was strange
The AG has a 140 deduct .. lol

I live in Austin and all of the comments from the previous posts seem spot-on, not that demographics are too important - you know other that 1 out of 4 trucks sold in the country being sold here in Texas (all makes)!

To each his own, but I hope no one would sell a '17 just to hop into essentially the same '18. The changes are just not important or exciting enough to matter, at least to me. Really not worth the few K you'd lose in order to reset the odometer.

Garages are for motorcycles, not cars - or trucks. The Rap is a great truck, but it’s my transportation when I’m logistically not able to ride. Raptor in a garage.... The humanity.

Agreed. My truck is inside at all times, unless I'm driving. Garage at home and garage at work.

I have 3 of 4 vehicles in my garage, I just don't have room for the 4th car.

It truly baffles me as to why people keep a few grand worth of crap they never use in their garage while leaving vehicles worth over $100K outside 24/7. I guess if you are always buying new cars every 3 or 4 years, who cares, right?

Priorities. I get far more enjoyment out of my bikes than any 4 wheeled vehicle.
That, and my garage was built by the previous house owner for and around a Porsche Boxster. about 7 feet of the Raptor would be hanging out and I wouldn’t even be able to get out of the doors.

I'd agree, bikes are WAY more fun than most anything on four wheels, with the exception of long-travel UTVs and Trophy Trucks.
