Seems now whenever I go WOT through the gears it missfires as it’s banging gears.

Installed my kit yesterday, took about 4.5 hours, I didn’t have to jack up the truck, did everything on my back, not too bad. No CEL or codes after the tune. Everything is smooth crisp and fast. Nothing crazy, I want reliability over performance as I tow and such. Working with Forscan now as I’m getting “vehicle not detected” when I connect.

Just a heads up, I am using the Motorcraft sp542 spark plugs which are one step colder than the factory sp550s I pulled from the truck. For tuned forced induction cars, going one step colder works great.

Truck idles and revs smoother than factory now and works great with the Whipple tune.

Gapped at .025"

Reinstall stock plugs gapped .025 to see. Other option you have a leak in one of the hoses, air bypassing MAF, etc. Just retorque everything and test drive.

I did the step 10 and it seems good to go thus far.
