Really?! You learned that from...

wait for it...

a post?!

RUSERIUS? You learned it from a post?

And you think that you should have kept your other truck if you knew the Raptor's stock suspension sucked so bad?

You may need a better suspension upgrade than even RPG can provide for those very rough corn fields you're driving in. :owned2:

RUSERIUS?

You gave up a 2012 Platinum to get into a Raptor that has a "ride a lot rougher?"

What planet are you guys on? :batman2:

You guys either got Raptors without shocks or your expectations are off-the-charts ridiculous.

I agree with RW - you guys need to hook up with some local Raptor owners to help you out.

I have ridden in other raptors and its a night and day difference. One being on mid perch and still much softer and smoother than mine.

Two dealers both acknowledged that my truck is the stiffest / roughest they've driven but neither will do anything about it, just give me fords bs announcement abut the fox shocks making noise

Something must be wrong... Watch my truck 40-70mph through a soybean field..

The cab is totally smooth compared to the suspension..

Holy crap the box sure moves around a lot in that second video...I thought I bent my frame but after seeing that I'm thinking my box just shifted and needs to be straightened out ill have to her dealer to check it out..

And on topic the raptor is by far the best riding truck iv been in. Foolih as it seems what's your tire pressure at that will stiffin up the ride considerably at 45psi+ 40 works great for me

What has the local temp been lately in IL and how far is the truck being driven each time? Even here in CA when it's "cold" my shocks are stiff ad make noise. It takes a few miles for the oil to heat up and get to operating temp. New shocks+cold weather can make the shocks feel stiff. Especially if you aren't accustomed to the Raptor suspension and compare it to a Platinum that was designed for a smooth ride on the street. Just my .02

Air down to 32psi and like Brian said, get the shocks warm, and then report back.

What psi does everyone run in the stock tires? At what psi does the tpms light come on at?

If you like a stiff rough ride, to each their own, but IMO the stock suspension sucks on the roads here in IL. If I would have known that it would exaggerate every bump in the road, I would have kept my other truck. Personally, I prefer not to hear my teeth chatter while driving down the road. I have since learned in another post that the stock raptor suspension is rougher than a standard F-150. Since I got the truck at invoice, I don't mind spending a little extra to get the ride I expected. From reading other threads, upgrading the suspension will improve both on road/off road driving.

If you're ride is too stiff and you don't off road, you're barking up the wrong tree. You don't need shocks and bump stops. You need air bags.

Personally, my advice would be (assuming you don't just get a different vehicle) to get some leaf springs. The only road performance about the Raptor that bothers me is the axle wrap/wheel hop.

My WSI leaf springs virtually eliminated that problem. And they're only $1000 (the least expensive I've seen)

I agree with what has been said about the shocks being stiff when cold I thought that woulda been common sense cause nothing works right when cold tell warmed up
