I have 6k miles with my outlaw kit I've had no issues with the bumps moving . If you slammed hard enough to completely bottom out and push the bump up, I wouldn't want it to push up and be in a pocket where all that force would then be applied the frame . Thats my thinking on it anyways

I know RoushRaptor661 lost a bump stop on the Vegas run but I'm not sure if it was RPG or Icon. He does run 3.0 front and rear Icons

He has the SDHQ setup. The reason he lost it was one of the set screws backed out.

Rpg, i think is better than the sleeve tight mechanism who others has on their bump stop kit, because it doesnt move anywhere with its top mount

Maybe thats the reason it got ripped off the truck, It could not move if it had to.

Earlier in the thread someone posted a picture of an RPG bumpstop that had failed or was sheared off.

Hey dont you think the icons bump stops can slide from the sleeve and cause damage to the frame vs others bump stops that are holded in place by a top mount vs the sleeve tighten from icons
You can see here, the bump stop can slide from the sleeve, as well looks like is difficult to align both with the same equal distance.

That's what I was wondering too when I saw their design.

No, the ICON bump has a collar toward the bottom (the black part) which has a larger diameter than the part that slides into the sleeve. When you install the bump, it sits tightly against the bottom of the sleeve. The sleeve bolts merely hold it in place or keep it from sliding down.

In this pic you can see the icons bump stop is placed lower than normal because the under sprung set up.

The good thing of icons bump stop, it is in stock and easier to get from vendors, beside others that are difficult to reach to buy it and takes to lomg to get them. So icons is easy and faster to get them.

I have been using my truck pretty hard and i have been hitting the stock bumps stop all the time whenever i go offroading the bump stop mark on the axle pads is notable. I already have deavers +2
