What type of "JACK" would you prefer on the trail?

We used the high lifts on the Farm and I think I heard them referred to as widow makers, but we never had any problems, knock on wood.

I see quite a few mounting solutions as well for the high lifts...

I think I am leaning towards a 48" High-Lift Jack, with a handle keeper and an off-road base.

I will be using the 48" high lift and find some brackets to mount it to the side of the box. If no one makes one I will have to get creative.

Who is making these skid plates for these jacks? I'd want to get a 3 ton with a skid setup. Will most of these skid setups fit in the bottom of the Outlaw chase tire rack?
