I used Adams car wash soap + then sprayed the detail spray and wiped it off with the microfiber towel + then applied Adams butter wax and wiped it off with microfiber towel..

I washed my truck today.. and the paint looks good... Maybe I should try one section?

Get some Paint Sealant to apply. It will give you about 6 months of protection on the paint, rather than the 2 months of the Buttery Wax. The Paint Sealant is easy to apply, just like the Buttery Wax. But just be careful not to get it on the plastic or rubber trim.

Another great option is the H2O Guard & Gloss. It is fairly easy to apply, just watch the video and read the instructions. The great thing about the HGG is it provides protection to all the exterior surfaces, except the tires. Paint, plastic and rubber trim, headlights/taillights, glass, and graphics.
