Too easy brother.Yea, kinda decided on keeping it. Tires and rebuilt shocks in a few months and the truck should be good to go for a while. I wouldn’t mind the payments if it was something I was in love with, but it’s not.

It’s a paid off vs +$50k difference for ? WarIs this a Gen 2 vs Gen 3 war?
Because ... I got responses..
Nope. My gen 2 has a key. Not a ***-fob. A real key. It's so nice. Everything else? Yeah, gen 3 is probably better. These comments are nothing but Gen 2 guys trying to make a ridiculous argument to make themselves feel better. lol. Gen 3 is superior in every measurable way.
lol I like my key too- also….any gen3 guy who drives a stock “non-tuneable” truck who hasn’t driven/owned a tuned gen2/3 can simply **** on this discussion too- the difference between a tuned 3.5HO (gen2 or gen3) & stock is SIGNIFICANT - so as we’ve said, someone w/ a well maintained well modded paid for gen2 doesn’t have a ton of incentive to buy a gen 3 besides coil rear & a nicer interior BUT more QC issuesNope. Not so much for me. It's the most capable stock off-road truck I could buy. Full warranty. It lets me go to remote places. In comfort. I like that it isn't ugly, but I'd still buy it if it was. And if the only color was shítter green ... I would still buy it. The first scratch or two annoyed me. Same same first dent. But I'm over it. The best thing about having the gen 2 is not feeling bad when I get another scratch or dent. The worst thing is those damned leaf springs.Honestly if we take emotion out of the equation, which is impossible as a Raptor is an emotional purchase.
Completely understand that logic. That is precisely what my eldest son would say. Function over form, use it for its intended purpose. Not so much for me.
