Run the larger of the two dynomax mufflers then, if it is too loud (I doubt it will be) you can add a resonator or J pipe. It will get rid of the rattle. Dirty deeds uses the same style of muffler then adds a J pipe.

If your willing to go back to single go Corsa, its the benchmark in interior comfort while still being raucous outside.

The Dynomax would get rid of the rattle or the resonator/ J pipe?

J pipes are a type of resonator used to eliminate drone. The length of the j pipe is how you tune it to help cancel whatever frequency the drone occurs at. I think the corsa mufflers house a j pipe inside of the body of the muffler if I am not mistaken.

I have not researched the dynomax but I believe they might just be a straight through muffler.

Side note if you wanted to use the dynomax and if it doesn’t have a j pipe you could add one later. There are some charts that tell you the length of pipe to use based on what rpm the resonance occurs at.

Gotcha I’ll have to try out that dynomax bullet then. I think the Summit Racing closest to me has it in stock so I’ll pick it up there. Might pick up a manual exhaust cutout too while I’m there lol. Thanks man!

I have SW long tubes and high flow cats with Dirty Deeds X pipe and mufflers. The negligible gain isn't worth running no cats. It sounds amazing and Keith is a good dude.

You didn't specify what diameter so I assumed 3"
Loud: https://www.dynomax.com/race-series-bullet-round-24405.html
Still loud, but less so: https://www.dynomax.com/mufflers/ul...a-flo-welded-round-centered-centered-613.html

I would run choice 2 with no cats. The muffler internals are essentially the same, the difference is the case size. Larger case is going to be quieter (especially in cab). Either one is going to be very loud at full throttle.

Chambered mufflers with X-pipe seem to produce the rocks in a tin can noise. Run a straight through. In general get away from anything Flowmaster.
I didn’t see the first part of your message when I read it. I have 2.5” diameter piping. Not sure how much or a difference it would make

Larger pipes tend to be louder. Those mufflers are also available in 2.5"
Gotcha. I’m assuming I would just have a Y pipe after the muffler correct? I have two 5” tips I want to keep on the truck
