I had to cut my spare down today, the crank mechanism no longer felt the need to cooperate. When the tire dropped this cable got pulled out, not sure where the other end was connected to or even what this is. Thx!

Looks like a ground cable to the frame, IDK though.

Flux Capacitor cable . I believe it ground to trailer hitch

That's a safety tether if the tire winch ever gives way. It is bolted to the frame/hitch and other end is attached to the spare tire hook.
