ntm can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he ran fox's up front and icons in the rear for a while based on the icons performance out back before switching to fox in the rear. He has some good info on his experience with both.

Yup, pretty much all the 3.0 external bypasses are the same thing. I like the icon rears because of their quite valves and shin guards.

Do you still have the Icons in the rear?

Yes, the performance was close enough to make small features like the adjusters and quiet valves be the deciding factor on keeping them.
Only issues I've seen with 60,000 Kms on them now, is that the back sides of the shock shafts are getting roughed up, and the adjusters seize if you don't clean and grease them regularly.
I was going through shin guards too before adding the mid flaps.

You only need one icont in the front and one in the rear to equal 4 Fox 3.0's

Hell, I had to put six king shocks/bumps to equal two fox 3.0's that were on it before !
I'd need like 12 kings to keep up with two of the icons :ROFLJest:

Not being one (well a little) but love the posting without reading the WEALTH of information on the topic here. Makes them look even more like snot nosed kids with nothing better to do...
