I went with RPG because they had a progressive upgrade system (Stages) that allowed for a method to "build-as-you-go".

And, they did feedback testing on their products that was easily accessible to review.

Also, they did custom setting of the shocks for your particular truck (use, bed load, and degree of suspension customization)

Disclaimer: other vendors may offer the same, but RPG did the best job of presenting their products (at least from my perspective)

We have played with both the king and fox. Overall I would say fox is the better all around performance shock for both daily driving and offroad use. We can custom valve them to suit your needs. We have also been playing with our own valving in the shop truck and are very satisfied with the outcome.
