if I already have a cobb stage 1+, when you DO come out with the trans tune, will I be able to simply download it?

Sorry for the late reply - yes, transmission tuning will be a paid feature. BUT, you will be able to remotely activate the transmission tuning feature on the Accessport that you already own via software license. We'll have a more detailed step-by-step guide at the time of release.

And thank you to everyone who participated in the poll and offered feedback! Can't wait to get this out for y'all!

So I'm went from a '17 Tacoma AT to a '19 Raptor and for me the 6spd auto in the Tacoma was absolutely horrendous. It was the reason I decided to get rid of it for the Raptor. No power down low and shifted like absolute crap. For me the '19 in normal mode is really smooth and I hardly notice it shifting. The only real complaint I have is how it likes to get up to 8-10th gear around town pretty quick under 50mph. When you need the gas it takes a second to get where it needs to be but for the most part I'm pretty happy with it. Sport mode on the other hand shifts pretty hard. In my opinion, Normal mode should hang on to gears a little longer and respond to peddle input a little bit quicker while maintaining gear skip. Sport mode I think should be smoothed out with less violent shifts. I understand it is supposed to shift fast and cycle thru the gears but its shifts way to hard to my liking. Almost feels like a a dog box.
Question: I just traded my Tacoma 17 for a raptor and same as you the Tacoma transmission is terrible. I had to punch buttons and limit out the 6 gear just to keep from getting hit in traffic. My question since you had one is the raptor manual a limiter ie if you put it in 6 it limits going above or is it a manual shift. Thanks

Sounds like you just want to set an upper limit of gear. You can do that on automatic as well if you push the '-' on the shifter. You'll see the gear numbers disappear on the dash. So if you want to max out at 6th, just press it 4 times and you'll see 10, 9, 8, and 7 disappear and those will be locked out.

In any of the Auto drive modes you can select the upper gear limit just like Raptor18Actual said unlike the Tacoma. If you select 6th gear, for example, from a stop it will cycle normally all the way up to 6th and hold it. This is what I will do sometimes when putting around town to stay in a lower gear.

1. The shifting doesnt bother me at all, but 10 gears and still only 18mpg?
2. Skip shifting, I don't even notice it and I wouldn't change it. Skipping shifts is fine because to go through every DAMN gear is ridiculous.

I have no further comments on the transmission except for it jerks into drive quite often. So Perhaps a simple update would fix this.

Where can you see the gear numbers? Is that something you turn on somewhere? I have no idea what gear my truck is in. All I know is it shifts a lot.
