What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

That car belongs in an enclosed trailer.

Interesting. Why do you say that? I go to several track events a year with the PCA and I rarely see the guys roll in with an enclosed trailer. These cars are driven on the same roads as every other car and exposed to the same elements. Now if it's to protect them from road debris, they are all typically PPF'd and the trailers all have some sort of stone guard. To me, an enclosed is just superfluous, and actually makes ingress and egress more difficult for the driver and the car.

Installed a TruXedo soft cover today. I've never used a bed cover on any of my trucks. I never needed to store stuff in the bed that needed protection and I've also typically had an SUV for cargo that needed to stay dry. It was easier to not have a cover with the hauling I would do (dirt, mulch, lumber, appliances, furniture, etc.). I still have my old tried and true 2003 F-150 Lariat that has been great to me and I'll use that for all my hauling. For my 2019 Raptor, I decided to get a bed cover for when we go camping/off-roading maybe 4-6 times a year. That way I know my camping gear will stay put and stay dry for the trips. But again it will be for very short specific needs. So I decided to go with the TruXedo soft cover that was on sale this Black Friday for about $270. Thought what the heck, for that price I can keep my stuff dry for the camping trips. So I'm going to give it try for my first ever bed cover. I'll put a coating of C2V3 GTechniq to help protect the cover and minimize UV fading.

I am not saying it is wrong to transport on an open trailer. I am saying I would not trailer that car on an open trailer. Superfluous or not. Loading and unloading is NO more difficult when the trailer is set up correctly. I have transported my vehicles for years in enclosed trailers, albeit my JK, and rest well knowing they are well protected. Absolutely no way a vehicle on an open is as well protected as in an enclosed.

I guess if open trailers were all that, Reliable Carriers transports would be open. While they absolutely have their place, secure transportation is much greater in an enclosed.
