I agree in terms of preventative maintenance. All I was saying is that at 23,000 miles I absolutely changed the rear diff fluid sooner than I needed too. It was pretty clean when it came out, having said that I’m a big fan of preventative maintenance and always change all my fluids before the recommended manufacturer intervalsI am just going to say, that you are some what wrong with the statement "it did not need it"
Preventative maintenance is just that. done to prevent failure. you can't wait until your pinion bearings are singing like a prepubescent choir boy, to do maintenance.
You don't wait until you have a rod knock to change your oil.
Change all fluids often!!!
