Congrats on the new truck...the depreciation angle is an interesting take. Your 25 depreciated at least double the amount you think your 22 would have as soon as you drove it off the lot, and that is from what you paid. At end of last month my local dealer had 2 2025 37pp's for $5,349 off MSRPs of $94,460. For humor, had them up work up a trade on my 23 35 801A with 14K mi which came in at $68k. Still didn't make "sense" to me to do the deal, for $24k+ after TTL (and not counting un-recoverable mods like ceramic coating, tinting, et.) for my use purposes to drive essentially the same truck. I am on a list for an R at MSRP with the OH dealer I bought my 23 at, but don't expect to ever receive a call on it. Plan to just wait to see what the GEN 4 brings.Yes. Went to multiple dealers not just ford. Carvana was most at $62,200. Most dealers were between $58k and $61,500. Ended up getting $61,800. Yea the keypad is a bummer. But I’ll get over it. Your offer sounds good. From my research , it seemed to me it was a good time to trade. Felt like in my case my trade in value was gonna drop 2 to 3k in the very near future. Could be wrong but used 22s like mine with less miles were dropping. I got under msrp which was good. Lot of dealers wouldn’t budge on 2025s.
